What can I do for severe pregnancy acne?

Now, my acne is horrific again. I mean, BAD. I have cysts and blackheads and whiteheads and pizza face. It’s not only ugly but it’s painful.
This is not one of these kinds of acne one can “sit out” as it can cause severe scarring and infections in the boils/cysts.
Is it safe to use Proactiv while pregnant? Can you suggest any alternative topical treatments?
