I am currently using a Clearasil Salicytic Acid treatment and have been for almost a couple of weeks now and it almost seems like it is getting worse. I have Clean and Clear oil blotting sheets that I try and use to help combat oil. Its random that I use those. I also have acne on my chest that I have never ever experienced before getting pregnant. I don’t use anything on that. I try and wash my hands like crazy thinking its me touching my face but Idk what to do. I hate to spend lots of money on products..

How To Treat Blackheads – Finally Blemish Free

Sunday, March 7th, 2010

A common question running through the minds of people who suffer from skin ailments such as acne is how to remove blackheads which are one of the most common of these blemishes. Unfortunately, the old school squeezing and pinching method may do more harm than good, so here are some tips on how to remove blackheads that will go a long way towards giving you the blemish free, radiant skin that you always dreamed of.

Before we go into how to remove the blackheads, let us discuss the causes of having blackheads on your face. When extra oil pools into your pores, which could be caused by having a hyperactive sebaceous gland and not washing your face often enough, the pools of oil turn into black heads and then eventually into ugly and embarrassing acne marks that are pus filled.

Get Rid of Blackheads Naturally

If your quest is to clear up your face and eliminate the black heads then you may want to begin with the natural treatments that will attack the causes of the blemishes. Many skin doctors will discourage people from squeezing the blackheads because while it does remove the blackhead, it does not keep them from coming right back. To fix the cause of the problem you will need to follow a cleansing schedule to help keep the extra oil from pooling again in your pores.

You should begin the process by showering with warm water to allow your pores to open and then washing your face with a natural mild soap, try to use vegetable glycerin or any other natural cleanser. This will take out the debris and makeup that has built up on your face. The chemicals that are in some other cleansers will make your condition worse so stick with the natural cleansers.

Applying a scrub to the face has been a proven remedy for acne and blackheads and you can find an all natural scrub at almost every drug store or natural food store. You should use the products every other day to get the maximum benefit from them. You may also choose to make your own all natural face scrub by mixing oatmeal with some ground up aduki beans. Putting it in a container that is air tight will allow you to make it in bulk for future uses. To apply it, put some in your hand and mix a little water with it. Begin massaging your face with the mixture but do not go near the eye area.

You can also mix some sugar into a store bought soap and later it up. You only need one half of a teaspoon per application. The sugar will act as an exfoliant to your skin and will remove the dirty and grime from your pores.

Another remedy that experts recommend for people who have the question, how to remove blackheads is to steam your face twice a week. Boil some water in a large pot and take it off the stove while it’s steaming, add a drop of tea tree essential oil to it. Now, place your face a few inches away from the pot and cover your head and the sides of the pot with a thick towel. Steam your face for 10 minutes to get rid of stubborn blackheads; however, do this only twice a week to avoid permanent enlargement of your pores.

Essential oils of jojoba and lavender are also remarkably effective against blackheads. Combine a drop of rose hip seed oil with 2 drops of jojoba oil and a drop of lavender oil; apply this mixture to your face. These essential oils help to dissolve blackheads, reduce inflammation and reduce scarring; they also prevent the eruption of new blackhead and acne.

Finding zits on the face of a teenager is something that comes with the age group but there are many different solutions to the problem that are natural. Keeping the teenager cleaning their face on a regular basis is a very effective way to reduce the skin problems that they are almost destined to encounter.
